Our Mission

Our Mission

The mission behind imageHunters.org is to broaden the scope of the Nature’s Best Photography concept to include a wide variety of photography and video journalists. These men and women, young and old, pros and amateurs, share one common goal: They are imageHunters. Part adventurers, part artists, these visual reporters travel the world to capture the beauty and mystery of its farthest reaches. They spend their days and nights, often in the midst of harsh elements, searching for those fleeting moments that reveal glimpses of our planet and illustrate the wonder and power of nature.

Our goal is to showcase the work of these imageHunters in the field and to uncover new, emerging imageHunters who document current topics. Advancements in technology have changed the face of journalism. Our job at imageHunters.org will be to utilize this expansion by blending images and videos from individuals and professional teams from around the globe so that we may inform, involve, and inspire the general public. What is happening today will affect what we do tomorrow.
